Bookkeeper's Corner

Dear Vista Families,

I hope the first semester of the 2025-26 school year is off to a great start for you and your family!

All course fees were assessed as of September 3, 2025 and are available to pay in MySchoolBucks. Please note:

  • The app will display these fees for 30 days only.

  • After that, you will need to log into the website (not the app) to view older outstanding balances.

Required Fees

  • High School Instructional Material Fee – $40, assessed to all Douglas County high school students (set by the School Board).

    • A full list of Board-approved fees can be found here.

  • Senior Graduation Fees – $30 for the diploma/cover + $60 for the graduation ceremony.

  • AP Exam Fee – $99 for each AP class.

    • If your student does not register with College Board by 10/31, this fee will be waived and no exam will be ordered.

Parking Information

  • Course fees must be paid by September 17 or your student’s parking permit may be revoked.

  • Please email me at kperardi1@gmail.com if you need to set up a payment plan.

  • Students parking without a permit will be fined in MySchoolBucks.

Yearbook & Senior Photo

Activity Cards

  • An Activity Card allows free entry into all regular season home games.

  • Purchase through MySchoolBucks → School Store → Activity Card.

  • Cards purchased after Wednesday at 3:00 pm will not have the “ACTIVITY” designation until the following week.

    • Students should bring their receipt to games until their electronic ID is updated.

Senior Shirts & Spirit Packs

These have been ordered. Ms. Lamb will notify students by announcements when they are ready for pickup.

Second Semester Fees

Fees for second semester courses will be assessed in early February after the Add/Drop period closes.

MVHS 2025-26 Express Check-In & Fee Information


Board-Approved Fees

Please note that some course fees may have increased since your student registered. Review the full list to ensure you’re informed.

 


Fee Payment Information

  • All fees must be paid through MySchoolBucks but won’t be assessed until after add/drop period.  

⚠️ Please allow time for optional fees to load in MySchoolBucks (MSB). If you don’t see them immediately, check back later.

  • For technical assistance with MSB, call 855-832-5226.

 


Instructional Material & Course Fees

  • All high school students are charged a $40 Instructional Material Fee (“IMF”-listed on page 1 of the above board-approved fee list).
  • The IMF fee as well as Graduation Fees (for seniors) will be assessed on 7/21 while 1st semester course fees will be assessed after the add/drop period ends in late August.   (2nd semester course fees will be assessed at the end of January.)

Free & Reduced Lunch Applications

If you believe your household may qualify 🔗 please apply online beginning July 15
Be sure to check the box to share your information with the school—this is required for fee waivers or reductions.  Please wait for confirmation of qualification before completing online Check-In if possible.

AP Exam Fees

All students enrolled in AP courses will be charged a $99 AP Exam fee, assessed with course fees.

To have an exam ordered for your student, both of the following steps must be completed (If the fee is not paid by the deadline, no exam will be ordered):

  1. Pay the $99 fee (once assessed) in MySchoolBucks by:
     
    • November 6, 2025 for yearlong/1st semester AP courses
       
    • March 6, 2026 for 2nd semester-only AP courses
       
  2. Register for the exam on the College Board website.

Teachers will also walk students through these steps in class. These are future action items—no immediate action is required now.

Parking Permits (Juniors & Seniors Only)

  • Available in the MSB School Store under “Browse All Items” or by following these links:  🔗 Junior Parking                 🔗 Senior Parking
                          
  • All outstanding fees must be paid before a permit will be issued.
     
  • Course fees must be paid in full by:
     
    • September 15 (1st semester)
       
    • February 15 (2nd semester)
       
  • Missed payment deadlines will result in revocation of your parking permit.
     

Optional Fees (Available in MSB – School Store)

Browse under “Browse All Items” to find these:

  1. Student Planner – $5 (an Express Check In item)
     
  2. Activity Card – $50 (an Express Check In item)
    Grants admission to home, regular season athletic events. This designation will appear on your student’s digital ID.  To ensure it’s included on the initial ID so that your student doesn’t miss anything, payment must be made by August 6th. After that, updates are processed weekly—do not wait until game day!
     
  3. Spirit Pack – $30 (Includes 3 MVHS t-shirts)
